it's the climb....

So apparently I am really bad at updating this thing! :) Since I started this blog I have graduated from college, moved away from Provo, hung out at my parents house for a week, and now I'm in California!
Where to start.....I guess with graduation, it was both amazing and sad at the same time. I am excited to be done and to see what life holds for me in the real world :) but I can't believe it is already over and I'm leaving. As I was packing and getting ready to leave I realized how much I love Provo and everybody there....and how much I'm going to miss it. But life's a climb...and the view's great.

My AMAZING parents

Beautiful flowers from one of my best friends Rach!

So I packed my apt where I had been living for the past 2 years and moved all of my stuff home. I was in Cedar just chilling with my family for about a week. My mom and I did a little walking/jogging, P90X, ran some errands, packed my bags for my study abroad, etc. I loved being home it was such a blast to just be able to hang out with my family. They are so amazing! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures because I didn't get my new camera until right before I left, but don't worry it's hot pink and incredible! So there will be great pictures to come!

The Sorensen kids
so cute!
Next I was off to California...Cali's family was all headed down on Sunday for Jordan and Kaylene's wedding and they were nice enough to let me tag along for the ride...literally. They dropped me off at the Sorensen's on Sunday evening and I've been here ever since. It has been a lot of fun! We ran to the beach, cleaned and vacuumed out the cars, picked up the house, ran the kids from school/home/piano lessons/etc, played jokes on the youth, hung out with family, celebrated cinco de mayo, and all around had a blast!
(Sorry this post is getting a little long...)
Beautiful view from the Newport Beach Temple
Don't worry we look amazing after just doing baptisms

On Monday we leave for New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji for 6 weeks and I can't wait! It is going to be such a blast! There will be more updates on that later. Also this last week I accepted a job to start around the end of July as a nanny out in DC (Chevy Chase specifically.) It is for a family of 6 girls ages 12 to 8 months. I'm really excited to move out there and ready for a new adventure.
